Getting started
RippleFX enhances supported audio after you select it as an output destination. Start with these three steps:
- Play music in a compatible app, such as Apple Music or Spotify.
- Open the player screen and tap the AirPlay or device-output icon. Select RippleFX from the available outputs.
- Open RippleFX, turn on Master Effects, and enable your preferred bass, EQ or spatial settings.
Frequently asked questions
Why aren't my audio effects working?
Confirm that the source app is playing audio, RippleFX is selected as the active output destination, Master Effects is on, and the corresponding effect is enabled. Compatibility and available outputs can differ by app and device.
Does RippleFX change audio from every iPhone app automatically?
No. It works through a compatible audio output connection. Apps and content that cannot route their audio to RippleFX might not be supported.
What happens when the free access period ends?
Paid effects become unavailable until you explicitly purchase access. You are not charged automatically at the end of complimentary access.
How do I restore an earlier purchase?
Use the Restore Purchases option in RippleFX with the same Apple account used for the original purchase. Apple manages purchase history and subscription billing.
Can I use RippleFX with my headphones?
Headphone-specific tuning may be available through AutoEQ. Select the closest supported profile, and adjust levels conservatively for comfort.
What apps can I use with RippleFX?
RippleFX is designed for compatible streaming apps, including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL and Deezer, when their output can be routed to RippleFX. Availability may vary.
Is my music uploaded or recorded?
No. RippleFX's audio effects process locally on your device rather than uploading your audio to a SarangAudio server.
